First New York solo-show at the Maisond e l'Occitanie in New-York.
From May 15 to June 15, 2024, Géraldine Auret will be exhibiting in a solo show at the Maison de la Région Occitanie in New- York. Succeeding artists Pierre-Luc Poujol and Hilarion Brugarolas, she will be the first woman artist to benefit from a monographic exhibition at this New York institution.
Géraldine Auret wanted this project to be participative and collaborative. It is supported by six regional companies representing long-standing friends, collectors and patrons: Domaine Sol Payré, Cabinet Cazes-Goddyn, Husser, Aeko, Scoop3 and Axeptio. This exhibition will be an opportunity to promote his art and showcase his work in New York, the world's largest art market.
Géraldine Auret will exhibit in July and August in the "village perched in the sky" in Tourtour. The Galerie Grande, Valérie Davidoff welcomes five artists this summer for a plural exhibition in this Provençal setting where contemporary art and sculptures mingle.
Géraldine Auret will exhibit her “Vibrations” collection there.
The latest collection imagined by Géraldine Auret, “Vibrations” definitively breaks with the symmetry, the initial geometry of her work. This duplication of the G leaves room only for the movements, the arabesques, the waves, the curls of the hair of her signature form, now approached in zoom.
All that appears are delicate movements and energies, flat tints and a return of bright, warm colours.
